More Beach Pictures

Well, I’m completely out of stuff to blog about, so I’ll bore you with more beach pictures. Here are a few of my favorites:

Matt finds out why it’s NOT a good idea to let your cousins and brother bury you in the sand: Sand in the ear.

And what’s the deal with kids and tongues?

My Nephew, Grant

My Nephew, Grant

Good try, Matt, but I think Grant wins the weirdest tongue trick. Better luck next year. Yep – Grant definitely has talent:

This one is one of my favorites. The kids were all supposed to jump at the same time. Notice the big kids get off the ground first:

Brandon, James, Anna, Matt and Luke

Then the big kids land and the little kids try to jump:

I’m not sure Anna, Matt and Luke actually left the ground but they tried. I came back with 5 CDs full of pictures, so I can keep this up for a long time, people! Hopefully I’ll be back in a posting mood soon.

3 Weeks and Counting

Three weeks from today we will be here:

With these people:

To do stuff like this:

This, too:

Until we are this tired:

Easter Pics

Let’s play a little game called “notice this?” Below, notice the brown egg?
Yeah, we got lots of those.

How about the tell-tale signs of red Peep sugar all over Matthew’s face?
He went to church that way.

See Brandon’s cowlick?
Brandon did not want to get his hair cut, but he did let me trim it a little bit last night. In this picture, he was actually looking out the window at the SNOW falling this morning. Did anyone tell Mother Nature that it’s EASTER and not Christmas?

You can’t really see it, but there’s tape all over the wall. When I got home Friday, Brandon had taped strings of yarn across the stairs and was charging a quarter every time someone went downstairs. Upstairs was free. Oh, and Matthew’s shoes are on the wrong feet. This is as dressy as Brandon gets:

See the beginnings of a sugar high?

Hope everyone had a great Easter! Now it’s time for Spring!

Snow Dog!

Spiderman Has a Green Thumb

I didn’t watch Matthew for 30 seconds today and this happened:

In a Picture Posting Mood

Circa 1982:

Thanks to my sister for posting this old photo of our family. The picture is not anything really fancy; just a casual summer afternoon from the looks of it. From left to right: my sister Leslie, Dad, my cousin Kristin, me, Mom, my brother Brian. You can see my struggle with my hair started at an early age.

I don’t remember this actual event, but see that deck? There were a million Barbie shoes and army men stuck under that deck – a plastic toy graveyard, if you will.  Also, I swear my Mom still looks this young. Thanks, Leslie, for posting this picture!
