Resuming Transmission

Wow. Still hanging around, are you? I’m impressed. I haven’t even pulled this page up for the past month, so you’re waaaaay more dedicated than me. I just got curious to see if anyone is even visiting this page. You should have seen all the spam comments I had to deal with. On second thought, you probably shouldn’t see them but never fear, that’s what the spam filter and the ‘delete all’ button is for.

Anyway – nothing much is going on, really. It’s cold and I’m not ready for the cold weather. That’s a bummer. We’re working. Brandon is doing well in school. Matthew is plotting how to get into the Christmas presents. He’s already opened a couple of them, so we put them in the attic for now. I’m not sure the attic will be safe, either, but at least he’ll have to put some effort into getting to them.

For Thanksgiving, we’re taking a crazy road trip to Texas (crazy, because 13 hours in the van with 3 boys is just plain crazy and I’m sure I’ll need some kind of sedative when it’s all over) to visit with Chris’s family. For diversions, I bought the kids a new movie to watch and burned a CD with some Maroon 5. We’re also thinking up some games to play in the van, like the infamous Cow Game or “Guess that Disease” – you know, games that keep the kids interested. Or grossed out. Either way.

So I’m going to try to blog some more. I’m not promising anything, but I’ll try. Thanks for sticking around.
