Sign of the Ox

According to the placemats at the local Chinese restaurant, I was born in the year of the ox which means I like to plow. Or work hard or something like that. Again, according to the placemat, Chris and I are extremely compatible. I guess placemats know what they’re talking about since we’ve been married nearly 15 years.

Even though I’m not an overly superstitious or astrologically-inclined person, this is the oxen horoscope for the next week. With my comments, of course:

If you cannot travel, get out online and talk to people who live far away. (Doing that right now.) You may be able to break free and try something new romantically this Tuesday. (Whoo-hoo!) You have strong opinions and should stick to them midweek. (Note to self: Blame horoscope for upcoming fight with husband.) Thursday is lucky for anything supporting your business or career. (I really did have a networking lunch planned for that day. For real. Weird.) There can be secrets and arguments this weekend. (Duh. That’s normal – I have children.) Do your best to keep things honest and open. (Say the first thing that comes to mind, even if it is “that’s the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard, were you dropped on your head as an infant?”) Enjoy home and family on Sunday. (See previous comment.) You can make a new start. (Will need new start and possibly new living arrangements due to overuse of aforementioned statement.)

  1. Stephen is a sheep and I am a rooster! Apparently, we are not compatible…oh well. Grant is a dog.

  2. Your wit is just priceless. You really need to start penning that book while you have more time on your hands…
