More Changes . . .

We’re moving . . . again. This time, 5 miles away to a fantastic, huge house in suburban St. Louis County. We are all very excited. It means we’ll have a large enough house for family to come visit, having a play area for the boys (both young and old), and living closer to Chick-Fil-A. I’m not kidding about that last part. Thankfully, Chick-Fil-A does not have a drive through, which would make it even more dangerous.

We tried very hard to find a home in our current school district and were very adamant that we did not want to move farther out because of the commute. However, when we saw this house and the price, we had to jump on it right away. It will lengthen our commutes a little bit (it makes Chris’s commute a whopping 6 miles) but I don’t really think that will be a problem. We’ll also get to miss all the I-64 mess when they shut the highway down. (That’s the way I go to work presently.)

The house has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a formal living room and a large rec room. It will be nice to have a formal living room; a room where no kids are allowed and can remain in a pristine condition. No food. No drinks. No kids. No toys. Just calm and clean. Ahhhh.

So we have plenty of room for friends and family (hint, hint) if they want to visit the most dangerous city in the United States and home of the world champion Cardinals. And please forgive me if posts aren’t as frequent the next few weeks – I’m packing.

  1. It must be that time for all the Estes Bunch to move! Yeah for you guys…

  2. The house sounds nice! We can’t wait to see it. Maybe we can come up for a weekend this fall.
